We LOVE Volunteers!

VOLUNTEER

We rely on volunteers to assist with set-up and tear down, parade information booth, guest greeters, staging and entertainment, Kids Zone activities, and more. No experience? No problem! We will provide training and guidance.

Requirements:

Must be at least 15 years of age (with parent consent) or older. Flexible schedule with availability on the weekend of May 29-31, 2026. Dependability to arrive on time for shifts. Ability to lift 15 lbs. Ability to be on your feet for up to two hours at a time. Must attend orientation

Benefits: Free parking available, Snacks and Water,1 (one) meal for shifts of 6+ hours, Community Service credit, and Lots of Fun!

FUNDRAISING OPTIONS

Advance Ticket Sales

Fundraising for your non-profit or club organization has never been easier! Get $5 for every Advance Unlimited Ride Ticket you sell to Orangevale’s Summer Palooza Midway of Rides! The value of the ticket is $30. For every advance ticket(s) sold, your organization or group gets $5. Sell 1 roll and earn $500. The Unlimited Ride Vouchers are valid for one-time redemption on the day you choose.

Parking Shifts

Fundraising Opportunity for Clubs, Groups & Nonprofits-Looking to raise money for your cause? Orangevale’s Summer Palooza offers a simple way to get involved! Participating organizations are asked to cover one 4-hour shift assisting with parking at the Fair, held at Orangevale Community Park, May 29-31, 2026

For every car parked, your group will earn $2 in revenue. While profits are not guaranteed, past participants have typically raised between $500–$1,500, while also benefiting from added visibility and community promotion.

Feeling A Little Tipsy

Your group or organization can sign up to serve alcohol for 2- 4-hour shifts during the event. Your organization will have the opportunity to promote your cause and collect donated tips during your selected shift(s). Groups are encouraged to take the online Department of ABC Leads Training. The Bar Manager will provide group orientation

SHOW OFF YOUR TALENTS

Are you talented? Are you a comedian? Do you juggle, sing, dance, play an instrument, or possess a talent that others find entertaining? Here is your time to be on the big stage at Orangevale Summer Palooza, as we love to showcase local area talent.

Provide an extra attraction to the event schedule. Activities for Kids, Petting Zoo, Pee Wee Rodeo, Car Show, etc… let’s partner up.

Does your group have a skill or an idea that would fit into the Family Friendly Event program? Tell us and let’s partner up. We would love to support your group and give the attendees some extra things to enjoy. Suggestions: pie-eating contest, art contest, rock painting, science magic, Weenie Dog races, or how about a power wheel derby? This list is not exhaustive.
